Alua Tursynkulova is a legal intern at Bissessur, currently based at our Netherlands office. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International and European Law at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and has completed an academic exchange at the University of Bologna in Italy, where she studied Data Science for Lawyers, Roman Law, and Philosophy and Sociology of Law.

At Bissessur, Alua’s work focuses on legal research into the interaction between EU law and international entities, with a particular emphasis on Central Asia. Her background in comparative legal systems, intercultural communication, and international relations contributes to the firm’s cross-border perspective.

Beyond her legal studies, Alua is active in international student organisations, including the International Law Students Association (ILSA), where she supports legal education and outreach initiatives. She also contributes to S.N.A.P. – Survivor Network for Assault Protection, engaging in research and advocacy work.
